
Chop the walnut kernels in a mixer until you achieve a fine consistency.
In a bowl, mix the chopped walnuts with brown sugar and the egg white.
If desired, add orange zest or vanilla flavor.
Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous dough.
Moisten your hands and take small portions of the dough, forming balls.
Roll the balls first in the brown sugar and then in the powdered sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Great to serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
