Delicious light and crispy walnut cookies
Chop the walnut kernels in a mixer until you achieve a fine consistency.
In a bowl, combine the chopped walnuts with the raw sugar and egg white.
If desired, add orange zest or vanilla flavoring.
Mix well until you obtain a homogeneous mixture.
Moisten your hands and take small portions of dough, forming them into balls.
Roll the balls first in raw sugar and then in powdered sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees
Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
Great to serve with a cup of tea or coffee.
