These puff pastry and apple roses are very easy to make and have a great visual impact! A cute idea for Mother's Day too!
Take an apple, cut it in half and remove the core, creating thin slices.
Blanch for a minute and dry them well.
Cut the puff pastry into 5 long strips, brush with jam.
Place the apple slices next to each other on the top part, keeping the peel side up and slightly out of the strip.
Fold the bottom part of the pastry upwards and roll it to create a rose.
Make sure to seal the edge well by pressing slightly.
Butter the muffin molds, place your roses in them, and sprinkle with cinnamon and powdered sugar.
Bake at 175 degrees for 40 minutes in a static oven!
And here they are, ready to enjoy! If you like, you can give them another dusting of powdered sugar!
Up to two days! Better at room temperature if it's not too hot!
