
A quick protein ice cream, no ice cream maker needed and lactose-free, creamy and delicious. Ideal as a protein snack: made with frozen banana (or strawberries for low FODMAP), isolated proteins, and a sweet swirl.


Blend the frozen banana (or strawberries for the low FODMAP version) with the whey isolate.
Add a little liquid (water or lactose-free milk) gradually, until you get a thick "soft-serve" style cream.
Swirl the cream with the teaspoon of Marmel-light.
Serve immediately for a soft consistency, or put in the freezer for 20 minutes if you prefer a firmer consistency.
Blender/food processor suitable for frozen fruit
Airtight container (if storing in freezer)
Store in the freezer in an airtight container for a maximum of 1-2 days; if completely frozen, let soften for 5-10 minutes before serving.
For a low FODMAP version use frozen strawberries and slightly increase the amount of water. Adjust the amount of liquid according to the desired creaminess.
