Apple crumble is a traditional British dessert made of a base of cooked apples and a crunchy topping of crumbs made from flour, sugar and butter. The sweetness of the apples pairs perfectly with the slightly spiced flavor of cinnamon. Ideal to enjoy warm, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Slice the apples thinly
In a food processor add the flour, sugar, cold butter cut into pieces, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and the almonds
Process everything at the highest speed
Spread half of the mixture on the bottom of a baking dish and arrange the apples on top, then cover with the remaining half of the mixture
Bake in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes
