It is a delicious and irresistible dessert, perfect to enjoy during the colder months of the year. Discover how to prepare it by following this simple and delicious recipe!
For the dough: knead by hand in a bowl 100 g of flour, 20 g of butter, a pinch of salt, two tablespoons of lukewarm water to form a smooth and homogeneous ball, brush with melted butter and let it rest
Cut the apples into slices, sprinkle them with sugar, add the sultanas and a teaspoon of cinnamon, cover them with tissue paper
On a generously floured cloth, roll out the dough very thinly with a rolling pin, spread the apples over the pastry, arrange them evenly, taking the edges of the cloth, roll the strudel giving it the typical horseshoe shape
Place the strudel on a previously buttered and floured baking tray, brush with the remaining 1/2 egg and bake in a hot oven at 180 degrees for about 30/35 minutes
Dissolve the remaining 40 g of butter in half a glass of hot milk and during cooking, brush the strudel from time to time until it is used up
