
Baked zucchini is a simple and tasty dish. The zucchinis are sliced and seasoned with tomato puree, olive oil, mozzarella, and parmesan. Finally, they are baked and flavored with basil for a traditional taste.
Slice the zucchinis lengthwise. Blanch them for a few minutes in plenty of salted water and drain.
Take a baking dish, grease it with oil and start layering alternating slices of zucchini, tomato, parmesan, and mozzarella.
Once the layers are done, bake at 180 degrees, static oven, for about 30 minutes turning on the grill 5 minutes before the end of cooking.
Serve flavored with fresh basil leaves.
