

Lemon beef meatballs are a tasty and simple dish to prepare. The ground beef is enriched with grated cheese and breadcrumbs, while the lemon gives a fresh note of acidity. In a bowl put the meat, the grated cheese, the béchamel, a splash of Worcester sauce and the salt
Mix the mixture well and shape it into eight round, slightly flattened meatballs
In a pan let the butter melt and when it begins to turn golden place the meatballs and cook over moderate heat for about 15 minutes
Transfer them to the serving plate and keep them warm
Pour into the pan four tablespoons of cream, the juice of half a lemon strained through a sieve, one teaspoon of breadcrumbs, stir and let it thicken slightly and develop flavor
Pour the hot sauce over the meatballs and serve immediately
