    Cut the pasta into squares and boil them

  2. STEP 2 OF 6

    Sauté the onion in oil and butter, then add the meat and peeled sausage, chopped mushrooms, and let cook for 5 minutes

    Add the red wine and tomatoes, salt, and let cook until the sauce becomes thick

  4. STEP 4 OF 6

    Put a spoonful of this sauce on each pasta square and roll them up

  5. STEP 5 OF 6

    Moisten a baking dish with the same sauce and place the cannelloni in it; add melted butter and some slices of fontina on top

  6. STEP 6 OF 6

    Bake for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted; finally, serve with the rest of the sauce on top
