
Carnival Fritters
Carnival fritters are delicious traditional Italian sweets prepared during the Carnival period. They are soft and fragrant, with the addition of sultanas softened in rum, giving them a unique flavor. Ingredients
- Brewer's yeast
20G - Flour
280G - Egg yolks
4 - Sugar
50G - Butter
20G - Milk
25Cl - Grated lemon zest
1 - Sultanas
30G - Rum
2Cucchiai - Salt
1Pizzico
Preparation

Dissolve the yeast with a little flour, sugar, and milk and let it rise in a warm place

In a bowl, mix the flour, eggs, butter, sugar, lemon zest, a pinch of salt, warm milk, and finally the yeast

Mix well and for a long time, then add the sultanas and rum

Fry spoonfuls in hot oil, shaking the pan so that the fritters puff up on all sides
