Chicken rolls are a tasty and delightful treat. They consist of tender chicken breasts stuffed with fontina cheese and mortadella, wrapped in a crispy coating of breadcrumbs and eggs. A simple dish to prepare but with a surprising flavor!
Slice the chicken breasts, season with salt and pepper; place 1 slice of mortadella and 1 slice of fontina on top, roll them up and secure with a toothpick
Dip them in beaten egg and then in breadcrumbs
Melt a knob of butter with a little oil in a pan, place the rolls in it and cook over low heat until they are golden brown
Remove them from the heat, drain the excess oil, and serve
