Chicken sandwiches are a classic appetizer, very simple yet tasty. They are light and delicious sandwiches filled with roast chicken breast, cooked ham, tomato, and Gruyere cheese. Perfect to serve during an aperitif or a casual dinner.
Whip the butter with a little salt and a tablespoon of mustard until creamy and spread it on the surface of the bread slices
On six of these, place the chicken cut into strips, a slice of tomato, a leaf of lettuce, cover with a slice of bread; on top, alternate cheese, cooked ham, tomato, and a leaf of lettuce
Cover with another slice of bread
Press the sandwiches well, wrap them in a sheet of wax paper and then in a damp napkin to keep them soft
