
Chocolate and pear cake is a delicious dessert perfect for a greedy tea time. The soft texture of the chocolate perfectly matches the sweet aroma of the pears, creating an irresistible combination. Ideal to enjoy warm or cold, this cake is perfect for any occasion.




Make a pastry with the flour, 100 g of butter, half a glass of water, a pinch of salt, and a teaspoon of sugar
Let it rest for one hour
Meanwhile, cut the pears in half, remove the core, peel them, sprinkle them with sugar, spray with Grand Marnier, and let them marinate
Roll the pastry into a disk about half a centimeter thick
Place it in a cake pan, shape it with a sheet of aluminum foil, sprinkle with dry beans, and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees
Remove and eliminate the paper and beans
Distribute the pear halves on the pastry
Continue baking at 180 degrees until the pastry is golden
Remove and let cool
Meanwhile, break the chocolate into pieces, place it in a saucepan, add a tablespoon of water, and melt over low heat
Once liquefied, add 50 g of butter and stir until a very smooth cream is obtained
Remove and let cool
Whip the cream and fold it into the chocolate cream
Pour over the cake
