The Chocolate Delight is an irresistible and delicious dessert, made of a soft dark chocolate dough, enriched with a butter cream and decorated with powdered sugar. Originally from the Emilia-Romagna region, it has become one of the most beloved specialties throughout Italy.
In a small pan, melt the butter in a bain-marie
In a saucepan, also melt the chopped chocolate in a bain-marie
In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with half of the powdered sugar and a packet of vanilla sugar
Dilute the mixture with the melted butter and chocolate
Add the sifted flour and cornstarch, mixing everything well
Beat the egg whites until stiff, sweeten them with the remaining powdered sugar, and gently fold them into the chocolate cream
Pour it into a buttered and floured mold
Place in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for about 40 minutes
Let the pudding cool in the refrigerator, then unmold and serve

Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
