

Chocolate torrone is a traditional Italian dessert, particularly popular during the Christmas holidays. It is a delicious dark chocolate bar flavored with rum, butter and chopped hazelnuts. Lightly butter a smooth 1-liter mold
Melt the chocolate in the rum over a double boiler, stirring
When the chocolate is fully melted, remove it from the heat and let it cool
Beat the butter with the sugar in a bowl until well creamed, then add the egg yolks one at a time and stir in the hazelnuts and the melted chocolate
Whip the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the mixture, then add the broken biscuits
Pour the mixture into the mold, cover it with aluminum foil and chill it in the refrigerator for a few hours before serving
