Chocolate Pralines are delicious chocolate bites perfect for indulging at any time. These pralines are made with a combination of sweetened cocoa, dark chocolate, rice cakes, roasted hazelnuts, sugar, whole egg, melted butter, milk, and rum. They are easy and quick to prepare and can be stored for several days.
In a bowl mix the rice cakes and the chopped hazelnuts with the mill
Add the raw egg (if desired, the white can be beaten) the melted but cooled butter the sweetened cocoa the sugar the rum and a bit of milk
Mix well
If the mixture is too dry add a bit of milk
It should be a homogeneous wet mixture but not too much
Form balls and roll them in dark chocolate (delicious variant: insert a hazelnut inside!)
Put the pralines in the freezer for a few hours
Before serving let them thaw they should remain soft but not cold (about 1 or 2 hours)
