

The chocolate slice is a delicious dark chocolate cake enriched with a cream made of whipped cream and almonds. Perfect to enjoy at any time of the day, it is an irresistible dessert for chocolate lovers.
In a bowl cream the butter with the granulated sugar, then add three egg yolks, 50 g of cocoa, half a glass of milk, the flour, one sachet of vanilla sugar, the egg whites beaten until stiff, and the baking powder.
Mix carefully to combine all the ingredients well, then pour the mixture into a rectangular greased and floured pan.
Bake in a preheated oven (180°C) for 30 minutes.
In a bowl whip 40 cl of cream with 50 g of icing sugar until stiff, then divide it into two parts and add the peeled toasted chopped almonds to one part and the remaining cocoa to the other.
Turn the cake out of the pan, let it cool, then cut it horizontally into three layers.
Place the base layer on a serving plate and spread it with the cocoa cream.
