The chocolate slice is a delicious dark chocolate cake enriched with a cream of cream and almonds. Perfect to enjoy at any time of the day, it is an irresistible dessert for chocolate lovers.
In a bowl, cream the butter with the granulated sugar, then add three egg yolks, 50 g of cocoa, half a glass of milk, the flour, a packet of vanilla sugar, the egg whites beaten until stiff, and the baking powder.
Mix carefully to combine all the ingredients well, then pour the mixture into a greased and floured rectangular mold.
Bake in a preheated oven (180 degrees) for 30 minutes.
In a bowl, whip 40 cl of cream with 50 g of powdered sugar, then divide it into two parts and add the peeled, toasted, and chopped almonds to one part and the rest of the cocoa to the other.
Unmold the cake, let it cool, then cut it horizontally into three parts.
Place the base layer on a serving plate and spread it with the cocoa cream.
