
Christmas Turkey

This delicious dish is prepared with a 3000 g turkey stuffed with a tasty mixture of turkey giblets, bacon, sausage, bread crumbs, apples, boiled chestnuts, and pitted dried plums. The turkey is then slowly cooked in the oven, enhancing all the flavors and making it tender and succulent. Chop together the giblets, bacon, and sausage; add the soaked and squeezed bread crumbs, sliced peeled apples, plums softened in warm water, chestnuts, and fill the turkey with this mixture; add a knob of butter mixed with salt and pepper

Sew up the opening, wrap it with bacon slices, and bake in the oven with a bit of butter at 220 degrees for an hour, then at 180 degrees for another hour and a half approximately

Occasionally baste the turkey with its juices

In the last quarter of an hour, remove the bacon and let the skin brown
