    Chop together the giblets, bacon, and sausage; add the soaked and squeezed bread crumbs, sliced peeled apples, plums softened in warm water, chestnuts, and fill the turkey with this mixture; add a knob of butter mixed with salt and pepper

    Sew up the opening, wrap it with bacon slices, and bake in the oven with a bit of butter at 220 degrees for an hour, then at 180 degrees for another hour and a half approximately

    Occasionally baste the turkey with its juices
