Cocoa cocottes are delicious chocolate desserts, perfect for enjoying during a sweet break. These soft cocoa puddings are made with simple ingredients and can be customized with the addition of whipped cream or a dusting of cocoa on top.
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat, remove from heat and add the flour, mixing well to avoid lumps
Then add the milk in which you have already dissolved the sugar
Return to the heat and cook for a few minutes, then add the cocoa, again being careful to avoid lumps
Let it cool and in the meantime, beat the egg whites until stiff with a pinch of salt and separately beat the yolks
Add the yolks to the chocolate cream and finally the egg whites, distribute the mixture into 4 cocottes (small ovenproof dishes) greased and sprinkled with a little sugar
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes
