Crumiri are delightful crunchy cookies, typical of the Piedmont tradition. Made with cornmeal, all-purpose flour, sugar, butter, eggs and vanillin, they are ideal to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee.

Make a well with the flour on a work surface and place the vanillin and sugar in the center, then mix
Reform the well and add the eggs to the center, then work them into the mixture
Add the softened butter and continue kneading
Form a ball, cover it with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes
Roll the dough into many small logs and cut them into pieces about 10 cm long, flatten them and use a fork to make ridges on the surface
Bend the pieces into an arch and place them on a buttered baking sheet
Bake the cookies for 20 minutes at 200°C in a preheated oven
Dip half of each crumiro in warmed Nutella and let them set
