Danish Puff Pastry is a traditional Danish dessert. It is a light and crispy dough made with flour, sugar, baking powder, milk, eggs, and butter. The puff pastry is rolled out in thin layers and then rolled to achieve a flaky and tasty result. This dessert pairs perfectly with a cup of hot tea or a fresh dessert.

Mix the flour with sugar and salt
Dissolve the yeast in a bit of cold milk
Place it in a saucepan where you will have mixed the rest of the milk with the beaten egg
Combine the obtained mixture with the flour
Mix until you obtain a soft dough
Roll out the dough on a baking sheet
Spread small amounts of butter on two-thirds of the dough
Fold the dough in three layers as if you were folding a napkin: first the part without butter and then the others
Roll out and fold again
Repeat three or four times
Let rest in the fridge or in a cool place for half an hour
Bake the dough in a preheated oven at 170 degrees until it becomes golden.
