Made with a mixture of Renette apples, dried figs, mixed dried fruit, walnut kernels, oranges, liquid honey, corn flour, white flour, eggs, and butter, this cake offers a combination of flavors and textures that will delight everyone.







Slice the apples and coarsely chop the dried fruit
In a bowl combine the eggs, flours, melted butter, orange juice, 1 tablespoon of grated zest, honey
Line the baking pan with parchment paper and layer the apples and dried fruit, then cover everything with the cream
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 1 hour
Remove the cake from the pan when it is cool
