Work the butter and sugar with a wooden spoon until you get a soft cream
Add the egg yolks one at a time, mixing well before adding the next
Add the flour and mix well
Add the egg whites and combine all the ingredients
Pour the mixture into a buttered and floured mold and place in a hot oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes
Let it cool completely before removing from the mold
