Clean, wash and slice the cabbage into strips
Chop garlic and onion and sauté them in 4 tablespoons of oil in a large pot
Add the cabbage and let it wilt over low heat with the pot covered for 15 minutes
Add 200 cl of hot water and cook still over low heat for an hour
Add the pasta and the chili and cook the pasta
Shortly before removing from heat add the sage
Pour into plates and garnish with sliced cheese
