Ferratelle
@tuduu
Ferratelle are a traditional sweet from Abruzzo, similar to crispy waffles. They are generally served in a wheel shape and can be filled with cream or jam. In the past, they were made using small iron plates called 'ferratelle', which were heated over the fire and then filled with the batter. Today, special electric molds can be used, making the preparation easier. Ferratelle are perfect for a tasty snack or to accompany a cup of coffee.
