

The Frozen Charlotte is a fresh and delicate dessert, perfect for summer days. It consists of a crunchy shell of Savoiardi cookies filled with a butter and Kirsch cream, enriched with toasted almonds and candied cherries. The whole is decorated with chocolate shavings, adding a decadent touch. A refined and irresistible dessert, ideal to end a special dinner.
Chop the almonds and put them in a small saucepan with the liqueur, the butter and the sugar; stir while keeping on the heat for 20 minutes
Line the bottom and sides of a mold with the biscuits; pour the almond mixture into the center and cover with more biscuits
Place in the fridge for several hours; unmold the well-frozen dessert onto a plate and cover with the cream, decorating with chocolate shavings and candied cherries
