
Gratinated Cabbage

- 500 g green cabbage

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (thermostat 6)

Clean the cabbage, wash it, and cut it into strips

Cook it in a pot of boiling water until tender

Drain it and add the juniper berries

Melt 30 g of butter in a small pan, add the flour, and stir over low heat for about two minutes

Remove from heat and gradually add milk and cream, stirring

Return to heat and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until the béchamel thickens

Add salt, pepper, nutmeg, and chili pepper
