

Marinated pears are a fresh and light dessert, perfect for finishing a meal on a sweet note. The pears are marinated in a delicious blend of apple juice, dry white wine, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg and grated lemon zest. Mix the apple juice with the wine, the lemon juice, the cinnamon, the nutmeg and the grated lemon zest; pour everything into a saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile peel the pears, cut them in half and remove the core, place them in the saucepan with the marinade, sprinkle them with sugar and cook for 30 minutes.
Then arrange them in a bowl, drizzle with the cooking sauce and serve.
