

Mascarpone Cake is a traditional Italian dessert made with mascarpone, butter, sugar, cornstarch, eggs, cream, vanillin, and lemon juice. This delicate and creamy cake is easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.




Take the butter out of the refrigerator and let it soften at room temperature
In a bowl, work together the butter and mascarpone until a smooth and homogeneous mixture is obtained
Add the sugar, a teaspoon of vanillin, and the cornstarch
Mix everything energetically
Incorporate the eggs one at a time
Add the cream and two teaspoons of lemon juice
You should obtain a rather dense mixture
Pour it into a greased round cake pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for about half an hour
As soon as you see the surface take on a golden color, increase the heat to 240 degrees and let it cook for another 10 minutes or a little more
Remove the pan and let it cool
Unmold and keep in the refrigerator until serving time
