Milanese artichokes are a typical side dish of Milanese cuisine. They consist of whole artichokes, breaded and fried, becoming crispy and irresistible. This dish is simple yet delicious, perfect for accompanying meat dishes or to be enjoyed alone. The artichokes are first cleaned and then boiled to soften them. Subsequently, they are dipped in beaten egg and breadcrumbs, and then fried in plenty of butter. Finally, they are sprinkled with a little salt and served hot.
