Mushrooms Parmigiana is a delicious vegetarian side dish typical of Italian cuisine. Cultivated mushrooms are cooked and then baked with a tasty sauce of parmesan cheese, parsley, olive oil, and stock cube. They are perfect to accompany meats, fish, or as a main dish for a light dinner. Their preparation is simple and quick, ideal for a last-minute lunch or dinner.
Cut the mushrooms into wide strips. Chop a large clove of garlic together with a handful of parsley and sauté the mixture with butter.
Flavor the mushrooms in this mixture and add salt and the stock cube, then pepper.
Cook for 10 minutes, add the parmesan, and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 25 minutes.
Serve hot on a plate.
