
Mussels with Beer

Preparation

Clean the mussels thoroughly by scrubbing them vigorously under running water to remove all encrustations

Heat the oil in a saucepan

Prepare a very fine mince of onion, celery, and bay leaf and sauté it in the hot oil

Then add the mussels, pour in the beer, season with salt and pepper, and cook over high heat until the shells have opened
