Natillas are a delicious Spanish dessert made with milk, eggs and sugar, similar in appearance to crème caramel. They are simple to prepare and make for a delightful sweet treat.
Using a whisk or a wooden spoon, beat the whole eggs and egg yolks with the sugar until well combined
Heat the milk with the cinnamon stick and, when it comes to a boil, turn off the heat, let it cool and remove the cinnamon stick
Gradually add the beaten eggs and the Maizena, stirring continuously to prevent lumps from forming
Cook the mixture slowly in a bain-marie, stirring with the wooden spoon until the custard begins to thicken
Then pour it into a serving bowl where you have arranged the savoiardi and let it cool
Serve the custard dusted with a little ground cinnamon
