Preparation

    Wash and pit the plums, place them in a steel pot with a glass of water and cook for 15 minutes

  2. STEP 2 OF 4

    Then pass them through a sieve, add the sugar and put back on the heat until it thickens

    Place the jam in jars and store

    Note: use healthy fruit at the right point of ripeness, avoiding washing it too many times in water and instead rubbing it with a clean cloth; for cooking, prefer steel pots with a high bottom as this is slow and very long; for glass containers, maximum care and cleanliness are required and they must be hermetically sealed; finally, if the jam molds on the surface, remove that part, clean the jar, and cover with 90-degree liquor alcohol
