Pork ribs in white wine are a tasty main course, typical of Italian cuisine. The pork ribs are slowly cooked in a delicious mix of white wine, sage and olive oil, which gives them a rich and succulent flavor. This dish is perfect to prepare during cold winter days and pairs perfectly with a glass of dry white wine.

In a fairly large pan heat two tablespoons of oil and a large knob of butter with the four sage leaves
When the leaves are slightly golden, place the ribs in the pan and brown them over high heat for a few minutes, turning them continuously
Then reduce the heat and cook for 20 minutes
Season with salt and pepper and continue cooking for 40 minutes, occasionally sprinkling the ribs with the wine without pouring it all at once because the meat should be tender yet dry
Transfer to a warm serving platter
Recommended wines: Oltrepò Pavese Bonarda Vivace DOC, Chianti Colli Aretini DOC, Cilento Rosso DOC
