

Pumpkin jam is a delightful autumn treat, rich in flavor and very versatile. Originating from the northern regions of Italy, this jam is made with steamed and filtered pumpkin, sugar, lemon, and a touch of Fruttapec. Its soft consistency and sweet, slightly citrus taste make it perfect for spreading on toasted bread or for filling pies and cakes. Pumpkin jam keeps well and can be enjoyed throughout the year.
Allow the pumpkin to cool
In a pot mix it with lemon juice, the packet of Fruttapec, and a bit of water if it seems too 'hard'
Boil for one minute and then add the sugar
Always stir and after the first boil let it pass for 12 minutes
