The Very Quick Zuppa Inglese is a typical Italian dessert made with dry biscuits, liqueur, mixed fruit, walnuts, cream, egg yolk, and chocolate or cocoa. It is a very simple and quick dessert to prepare, perfect for serving at parties or to surprise guests.

Spread a layer of dry biscuits on the bottom of a glass dish, preferably square or rectangular.
Pour a little liqueur over the biscuits, then chop the fruit and add some walnut kernels or leftover dried fruit.
Arrange a second layer of biscuits and soak them with a little fresh cream or milk mixed with an egg yolk; let the biscuits absorb well, then finish the dessert by sprinkling sweet cocoa or chocolate shavings on top as desired.
Refrigerate for two hours and serve.
