
Raisin Fritters
Raisin fritters are delicious fried sweets, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The presence of sultana raisins gives them a pleasant sweet and fruity flavor. These fritters are perfect to enjoy during the Carnival period, but they are also great on any other occasion.
Ingredients
- Flour
200G200G - Butter
50G50G - Eggs
33 - Sultana raisins
100G100G - Sugar
50G50G - Water
25Cl25Cl - Lemon zestto taste
- Yeast
1Teaspoon1Teaspoon - Powdered sugarto taste
- Olive oilto taste
Preparation

In a pot, place the butter, add the water, and bring to a boil

Remove from heat, pour in all the flour, and stir until the dough becomes a smooth ball; place back on the heat, incorporate sugar, grated lemon zest, and one egg at a time, mixing well: the dough should have a stringy consistency; let cool, add yeast and raisins already soaked and squeezed

Heat the olive oil well and fry spoonfuls of the batter
