    Soak the prunes in warm water for about an hour.

  2. STEP 2 OF 3

    In a pan with olive oil and butter, place the veal topside and brown it well on both sides; deglaze with a glass of white wine and let it evaporate; season with salt and pepper and add the drained prunes.

  3. STEP 3 OF 3

    Cover and transfer to the oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about an hour.
