
Sambal sauce is a spicy and aromatic sauce originating from Asian cuisine. Made with ingredients like onions, garlic, chili, ginger and turmeric, it is perfect to use as a condiment for side dishes and main courses.




The quantities are for 25 cl of sauce
Melt the butter in a pan and add the onions, the garlic, the chili powder, the turmeric, the ginger and the cumin
Cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon
Divide the mixture between 2 bowls, adding the cucumbers to one and the tomatoes to the other
Stir and let rest for one hour before serving
The amounts of spices can be reduced, but remember that this Indian sauce should be very spicy
