
Sesame Bread
Sesame bread is a simple and tasty appetizer, perfect for starting a meal with company. Its crunchy crust and toasted sesame seeds give it a unique flavor. Originally from Asia, it has become popular worldwide.
Ingredients
- Spelt flour
350G350G - Durum wheat flour
100G100G - Wheat germ
50G50G - Brewer's yeast
25G25G - Sesame seeds
2Tablespoons2Tablespoons - Lightly beaten egg white
11 - Saltto taste
Preparation
- STEP 1 OF 9
Dissolve the yeast in a little warm water
- STEP 2 OF 9
Sift the flours onto the work surface and add the wheat germ with a pinch of salt
- STEP 3 OF 9
Pour in the yeast and knead, adding the necessary warm water to obtain a homogeneous dough
- STEP 4 OF 9
Work the dough for 20 minutes and form a ball
- STEP 5 OF 9
Cover it with a cloth and let it rise for 45 minutes in a sheltered place

Knead it for 10 minutes and make loaves that you will score on the surface

Cover them and let them rise for 20 minutes

Brush them with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds

Bake them in a preheated oven at 160 degrees for 40-45 minutes (if they brown too much, cover them with a sheet of aluminum foil)
