Sour cherry juice is a sweet and refreshing drink, perfect to enjoy during the summer. The sour cherries give the juice an intense and slightly tangy flavor, balanced by the sweetness of the sugar and the freshness of the lemon juice. Cinnamon and cloves add a spicy note that completes the taste of the juice.
Remove the stems from the sour cherries, wash them, and cook them whole in a saucepan with a little water
Then pass them through a rather coarse hair sieve
Weigh the obtained juice and add sugar in the proportion of 500 g for every 1000 g of juice
For optional flavoring, you can add the grated zest of half a lemon or a pinch of cinnamon or a couple of cloves
Mix well and bottle, leaving one and a half centimeters from the top
Apply the caps and boil for 25 minutes
