Place the lentils in cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 10 minutes
Drain them and keep the water. Sauté 2 chopped onions in oil with garlic, cumin, and turmeric; add the lentils, broth, and 1/2 liter of cooking water; cook for 30 minutes, season with salt
Blend part of the soup
Separately, brown the remaining onion in oil, add the coriander, and incorporate into the soup
Serve with croutons
