
Stuffed Turkey is a traditional Italian dish perfect for holidays. A delicious deboned turkey, stuffed with chestnuts, celery, sausage, and herbs, cooked slowly in the oven to achieve succulent and flavorful meat. A true pleasure for the palate!










Soak the chestnuts for 12 hours and cook them with celery in broth
Pass 1/3 through a sieve
Mix crumbled sausage, whole chestnuts, passed chestnuts, salt, brandy, and pepper
Stuff the turkey, tie it, season with salt and pepper, wrap it with slices of lard
Wrap it in buttered parchment paper
Place it in the oven on a rack and place a baking dish with broth underneath
Cook at 200 degrees for 2 hours
Serve with the cooking juices and the juice of 1 lemon
