Preparation

Cut the pineapple horizontally in half
- STEP 2 OF 7
With a spoon, remove the pulp leaving the shell intact
- STEP 3 OF 7
Dice the pulp as well as the other fruits
- STEP 4 OF 7
Mix, sweeten, and sprinkle with a glass of champagne and two small glasses of brandy
- STEP 5 OF 7
Refrigerate the fruit salad and also the two pineapple "shells"
- STEP 6 OF 7
Shortly before serving, fill the shells with the diced fruit and top with a dome of vanilla ice cream, which can be store-bought or homemade
- STEP 7 OF 7
On a serving plate, spread a layer of crushed ice, place the pineapple halves on top, and serve
