Taralli Pugliesi are a typical treat from the Puglia region, characterized by their ring shape and the unique flavor given by fennel seeds or anise. They are perfect to enjoy with a good glass of white wine.

Mix all the ingredients to form a ball, let rest for 1/2 hour and then start shaping the tarallini (small rings - choose the size you prefer). Let them rise for 20 minutes and put them in boiling water until they float; then drain them and place them on an oiled baking tray and bake (preheated oven) at 180°C for about 25 minutes.
