Mascarpone tiramisu is a classic Italian dessert, loved worldwide. It consists of a layer of Savoiardi biscuits soaked in espresso, alternated with an irresistibly tasty mascarpone cream. To finish, it is dusted with unsweetened cocoa powder. A simple dessert to prepare, but with a sublime result.
Beat the egg yolks well with 5 tablespoons of sugar; add the mascarpone and 3 tablespoons of rum, then fold in the beaten egg whites
Mix the espresso, rum and 2 tablespoons of sugar; dilute with a little water and dip the biscuits in it
In a dish, alternate a layer of biscuits with a layer of mascarpone cream until all ingredients are used up
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour
Dust with cocoa powder
