Mix the flour, baking powder, and sugar in a large bowl.
Pour in the oil and water, stirring until you get a smooth mixture.
Melt the dark chocolate and add it to the batter.
Grease a 24 cm mold or line it with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the mold and bake in a static oven at 170°C for 45-50 minutes.
Check the doneness with a toothpick test.
Let it cool, remove from the mold, and transfer the cake to a serving plate.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

We can add half a teaspoon of cinnamon to further flavor the dessert. Instead of baking powder, we can use 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar. Great for breakfast or a snack, it pairs well with a cup of coffee.
