
Waffles are soft wafers originating from Northern Europe. A sweet street food, perfect for filling thanks to their honeycomb shape. Today we show you how to prepare butter-free waffles, an equally soft batter made with oil and Greek yogurt, easy and quick to prepare. To cook the waffles you will need the appropriate waffle iron; this way, after cooking the classic square indentations will form, to be filled with indulgent creams, jams, syrups or enjoyed with cream and strawberries as we did. You can also opt for a hazelnut or pistachio spread, or some fresh yogurt. A great recipe for breakfast to share with the whole family!



In a bowl, break the eggs and add the sugar, then whisk until homogeneous.
While continuing to whisk, slowly add first the oil and then the milk.
Sift the flour into the bowl and continue mixing to obtain a smooth, lump-free batter.
Turn on the waffle iron and when it reaches temperature, brush the plates with a little vegetable oil, then pour the batter and cook for about 5 minutes, until it reaches a nice golden color.
Once all the batter has been cooked, enjoy the waffles with mixed berries.
Store in a cool, dry place.
