Preparation

  1. STEP 1 OF 5

    Prepare the cheese: Place the Soft Goat Cheese (with parchment paper) on a baking tray or in a small cocotte.

  2. STEP 2 OF 5

    Lightly brush the surface with extra virgin olive oil, lay the sage leaves on top, and add a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. STEP 3 OF 5

    Cooking: Bake in a preheated static oven at 200°C (392°F) for about 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and soft in the center.

  4. STEP 4 OF 5

    Crispy sage (chef's option): If you want ultra-crispy sage, you can sauté it in a pan with a drizzle of oil for 1 minute and add it on top only after taking the cheese out of the oven.

  5. STEP 5 OF 5

    Gourmet plating: Transfer the warm Soft Goat Cheese onto a cutting board or plate. Decorate with aromatic flowers or lavender (if you have them), and serve with toasted bread.
