Juicy pears baked in the oven, stuffed with a heart of Goat Blue Cheese, enriched with crunchy walnuts, a drizzle of acacia honey, and fresh thyme. An explosion of contrasts and aromas: the sweetness of the fruit, the savoriness and aromatic persistence of goat cheese, the crunchiness of walnuts, and the herbaceous notes of thyme, for a dish that delights the eyes and palate.
Wash the pears, cut them in half and remove the seeds. Optionally sprinkle them with a few drops of lemon juice to prevent browning.
Place the pears in a lightly buttered baking dish. Add a generous piece of Goat Blue Cheese in the center of each half, a few walnut halves, a sprig of fresh thyme, a pinch of salt, and pepper.
Drizzle honey over each pear. Add a small piece of butter on top of each half. Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes, until the pears are soft and the cheese starts to melt.
Serve the pears still warm, adding more honey, walnuts, and a few fresh thyme leaves for decoration as desired.
